Your Woodbridge home has a two-storey great room with windows that run from the hardwood floor to the cathedral ceiling. Curtains and blinds for a space like that are not a standard purchase — they are a custom project that demands expertise and precision. Custom blinds Vaughan buyers with premium homes know the difference between a competent installation and a professional one. The Crazy Joe’s team serves all of Vaughan, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Maple, Concord, and Kleinburg, delivering factory-direct window treatments with the fit and finish these homes deserve.

Custom Blinds Vaughan — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
Vaughan and Woodbridge are home to some of the GTA’s most impressive residential architecture — grand two-storey foyers, formal dining rooms with coffered ceilings, and great rooms with large-format windows that demand equally impressive window treatments. The Crazy Joe’s team has serviced hundreds of homes in this area and understands the standard of finish these properties require.
Our factory-direct model delivers that quality without the markup that boutique drapery stores on Highway 400 corridor charge. When you order custom drapes Vaughan through Crazy Joe’s, you pay for premium materials and expert service — not for a showroom’s lease cost or a distributor’s margin. Vaughan homeowners consistently tell us we save them hundreds to thousands of dollars compared to competing quotes, with no compromise on quality.
Every order begins with a free in-home measuring visit. Call 647-878-4459 and one of our experienced team members comes to your Vaughan or Woodbridge home. We bring a full range of fabric swatches, hardware samples, and motorized demos so every decision is made in the right context. Professional installation completes the project — our team handles cathedral ceiling installations, two-storey windows, and complex multi-panel configurations that other installers avoid.
As members of the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA), we supply only products that meet North American standards for safety and quality. For Vaughan families, our motorized systems are both the child-safe and the architecturally appropriate solution for large-format windows.
Custom blinds Vaughan homes require products that match the scale of the architecture. Oversized faux-wood blinds in 2.5-inch slats handle the wide windows common in Woodbridge detacheds without looking flimsy or undersized. For formal living rooms, real-wood blinds add warmth and a premium feel that complements traditional décor.
Custom blinds Woodbridge buyers in newer builds along Highway 400’s development corridors often choose cellular honeycomb shades for their superior thermal performance — Vaughan’s position away from Lake Ontario means more extreme temperature swings, and a cellular shade’s insulating air pockets make a noticeable difference in year-round comfort and energy costs.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Vaughan formal rooms typically call for pinch-pleat or goblet-pleat panels in medium-to-heavy fabrics — velvet, silk-look, or structured polyester blends that hold their form across large window spans. We offer a wide range of premium fabric choices and can add interlining for additional body and thermal performance.
Pinch pleated drapes Vaughan Ontario dining rooms and living rooms are a consistent part of our work in this area. A properly executed pinch-pleat panel — stacked correctly, hung at the right height, finished with a weighted hem — transforms a large room’s windows from a functional feature into an architectural statement.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Vaughan are the practical solution for the large-format and high-reaching windows common in this area’s homes. A motorized system handles two-storey windows effortlessly, integrates with your smart home, and eliminates the cord management nightmare that traditional large-window treatment systems create. Our installation team is experienced with complex motorized configurations in Vaughan and Woodbridge homes.
Custom drapes condo owners Vaughan in the VMC area’s growing condo towers want motorized systems that work within the building’s construction — we carry battery-powered motors that require no hardwiring and battery-charged units that last months between charges.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades in Vaughan kitchens and home offices serve both function and aesthetic. Our flat and relaxed Roman styles in natural linen or structured cotton bring a tailored look to spaces where full drapery would feel excessive. Every Roman shade we build is custom-sized to your window’s exact measurements.
Blackout options are available on virtually every fabric in our collection — not just on a narrow “blackout” range. Vaughan’s detached homes with east-facing master suites particularly benefit from our blackout-lined drapery, which combines elegance with complete light control.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is growing rapidly, and the condos rising around the subway extension need the same quality of window treatment as the area’s established homes. Our affordable custom curtains Vaughan condo range includes slim roller blinds, zebra blinds, and ripple-fold sheers in widths that handle floor-to-ceiling glazing without visible seams or multiple side-by-side panels.
Sheer curtains in Vaughan condos balance privacy with the natural light that makes high-floor suites so desirable. A quality sheer diffuses direct sunlight and softens the view from neighbouring units without blocking your own sightline to the surrounding landscape.
Vaughan homeowners have high expectations and they should — these are premium properties in one of Ontario’s most desirable communities. The Crazy Joe’s team meets that standard every time:
Factory-direct pricing — premium quality at prices that cut out every layer of middleman markup.
Free in-home measuring across all of Vaughan — Woodbridge, Thornhill, Maple, Concord, and Kleinburg all covered.

The Crazy Joe’s factory-direct model was built for exactly this situation.

We bring fabric swatches, blind samples, and motorized demos so you can evaluate every option in your own lighting. Professional installation completes the order — your windows are dressed and done.

Our Markham & York Region Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds Markham buyers in new construction typically want products that complement contemporary builder finishes — clean lines, neutral palettes, and smooth operation from day one. Our faux-wood blinds in white and warm white tones are the consistent top-seller in Markham, Cornell, and Unionville new-home communities. They pair with virtually any interior and are highly durable in family use.
For custom blinds Richmond Hill buyers in older established areas like Jefferson or Oak Ridges, wood blinds are popular — warmer in tone and excellent for rooms with traditional trim and hardwood floors. We also carry aluminium micro-blinds for kitchens and bathrooms where moisture resistance is a priority.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Richmond Hill and Markham buyers often want something that elevates a new build’s standard finishes. Floor-to-ceiling ripple-fold panels in a quality linen or polyester blend make builder windows look intentional and architectural. We offer pinch pleat, ripple fold, eyelet, goblet, and rod-pocket header styles across hundreds of fabric choices.
Custom drapery Richmond Hill estate-home buyers frequently request formal pinch-pleat drapery with blackout lining for master suites and thermal lining for north-facing great rooms. Our team can advise on the best combination of fabric weight, lining, and hardware finish for each room’s specific conditions.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Markham new builds are increasingly specified at the design stage. Smart-home pre-wiring in new Markham and Richmond Hill homes makes motorized blind installation straightforward — we connect to existing wiring channels and program integration with the home’s hub during a single installation visit.
For existing Markham homes retrofitting motorized blinds, our battery-powered and rechargeable motor options require no wiring at all. The motor operates on a rechargeable USB-C battery that lasts six to twelve months between charges, making motorization practical in any room without electrical work.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades Markham kitchens and home offices love are the flat Roman style — tidy, light-filtering, and easy to operate with a single pull. We build every roman shade to your exact window size in any fabric from the collection, including moisture-resistant options for bathrooms and easy-clean polyester for kitchens.
Affordable blinds Markham bedroom options include our blackout roller shades and blackout-lined roman shades — effective light control at prices that work for the whole-home orders Markham families typically need. Blackout backing is available on virtually any fabric we carry.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
York Region’s growing condo sector — particularly along Highway 7 in Markham and Yonge Street in Richmond Hill — has steady demand for slim, elegant window treatments. Our sheer curtain range is popular in these units for its ability to maintain privacy while preserving views and diffusing light beautifully through open-plan layouts.
Custom blinds Thornhill buyers in the district’s established condo corridor often favour motorized rollers or zebra blinds for the dual light-and-privacy control they provide. We carry both in the wide widths needed for large-format condo windows.

Custom Blinds Scarborough — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
Scarborough is a diverse, sprawling district with housing that ranges from post-war bungalows in Birchcliff to mid-rise condos in Scarborough Village to large new-build detacheds in L’Amoreaux. Each property type has different window profiles, different light challenges, and different budgets. The Crazy Joe’s team understands all of them — we have been serving Scarborough homes for years and we know what works here.
Our factory-direct model eliminates every layer of markup between the manufacturer and your window. That difference puts premium window treatments within reach of more Scarborough families.
The process starts with a free in-home measuring visit. Call 647-878-4459 and our team comes to your Scarborough home at a time that suits you. We bring a full range of samples so you can evaluate fabric, opacity, and style in your own light. Professional installation completes every order — we mount all hardware, hang every panel or fit every blind, and remove all packaging before we leave.
As a WCMA member, Crazy Joe’s supplies only products that meet North American standards for material safety, cord safety, and manufacturing consistency. For Scarborough families with young children, our cordless and motorized options completely eliminate cord hazards while delivering a cleaner finished look.
Our Scarborough Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds Scarborough homes need are as varied as the neighbourhood itself. Birchcliff bungalows with original wood windows require a careful measuring approach — frames are often slightly out of square after decades of settling. Our team notes every measurement quirk and builds each blind accordingly. Agincourt and Tam O’Shanter newer builds typically have standard PVC frames that allow inside-mount blinds to fit cleanly.
We offer the full range: wood blinds, faux-wood, aluminium micro-blinds, and cellular honeycomb shades in every opacity category. For condo blinds Scarborough buyers in the district’s growing mid-rise sector, our slim-profile roller systems are the go-to recommendation — clean lines, smooth operation, and sizes that handle large-format windows without visible seams.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Scarborough buyers range from new homeowners wanting practical, good-looking panels for a whole-home install to established Guildwood residents seeking formal dining room drapery in premium fabric. We serve both with the same care and the same factory-direct pricing. Our fabric range includes cottons, linens, polyester blends, velvet, silk-look, and blackout-backed options.
Custom curtains new home owners Scarborough typically select are durable, easy-care fabrics in neutral tones — practical for young families and flexible enough to work with future décor changes. We carry dozens of suitable options and our design team can suggest the right combination of fabric, lining, and header style for your specific rooms.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Scarborough are increasingly popular in the district’s newer condo and townhome developments. Large windows, open-plan layouts, and smart-home integration make motorized systems practical and appealing. Our motorized range covers everything from individual room-darkening rollers to whole-home systems that respond to a single voice command.
We install and program motorized systems during a single installation visit. Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit integration is standard. Scheduling sunrise-and-sunset automation is a feature many Scarborough customers appreciate — your blinds adjust automatically without you thinking about them.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades Scarborough kitchens and family rooms use are practical and polished. Our flat roman shade is the most popular style in this area — a clean horizontal fold when raised, a smooth face when lowered, and a much tidier profile than a valance or curtain in a busy kitchen window. We custom-build every size to fit your exact window dimensions.
Blackout curtains Scarborough east-facing bedrooms need are effective from the first morning of use. Our blackout lining options are available on virtually any fabric in our collection — you are not limited to a narrow range of “blackout” products. Choose your fabric, we add the lining, and your room stays dark until you decide otherwise.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
Scarborough’s growing condo sector — particularly along Kingston Road and the waterfront — has a steady demand for slim, high-performance window treatments. Our condo blinds Scarborough selection includes motorized rollers, zebra blinds, and sheer panel systems, all available in wide widths for floor-to-ceiling glazing.
Sheer curtains remain popular for their ability to maintain privacy during the day without blocking natural light. In Scarborough’s many east-facing suites, a quality sheer transforms harsh morning glare into soft, diffused brightness that makes the room feel welcoming rather than blinding.

Custom blinds and drapes for Etobicoke — Crazy Joe’s Drapery & Blinds | 647-878-4459
Custom Blinds Etobicoke — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
Etobicoke’s housing market spans a remarkable range — Mimico waterfront condos, Long Branch bungalows, The Kingsway estates, and the dense townhome developments along Islington Avenue all present different window treatment challenges. The Crazy Joe’s team has worked in every property type in this area and brings that experience to every measuring appointment.
Our factory-direct model is the foundation of everything we do. When you order custom drapes Etobicoke through Crazy Joe’s, you are not paying for a Bloor Street showroom or a distributor’s margin. The price reflects our manufacturing cost and service, which means you get more product for your dollar than any traditional drapery store can match.
Free in-home measuring starts the process. Call 647-878-4459 and one of our team members comes to your Etobicoke home at a time that suits you. We bring swatches, slat samples, and hardware demos so you can make every decision in your own light. Professional installation completes the job — we mount everything, test every mechanism, and leave your windows finished and functional.
Every product we supply meets WCMA (Window Covering Manufacturers Association) standards for safety and manufacturing quality. For families in Etobicoke homes, our cordless and motorized options eliminate cord-safety concerns entirely while delivering a cleaner, more modern look.
Our Etobicoke Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds Etobicoke homes require precision manufacturing. The area’s mix of older bungalows with original wood frames and new condo towers with floor-to-ceiling glazing demands a supplier who can handle both extremes. Our factory produces every blind to exact measurements, from a narrow 24-inch kitchen casement in a Long Branch bungalow to a two-metre-wide condo panel in a Humber Bay tower.
We offer wood blinds, faux-wood blinds, aluminium micro-blinds, and cellular shades in every opacity from sheer filtering through to full room-darkening. Condo blinds Mimico buyers often favour slim-profile roller blinds in light-filtering fabrics that preserve lake views while controlling glare.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Etobicoke projects range from formal pinch-pleat panels for a Kingsway dining room to casual linen tab-tops for a Richview family room. We carry hundreds of fabrics and can line, interline, or back any panel with blackout material. Header styles include pinch pleat, goblet, ripple fold, eyelet, and rod pocket.
Custom drapes condo owners Etobicoke want are typically slim-profile systems that work within the narrow ceiling brackets common in high-rise builds. We stock hardware designed specifically for concrete-ceiling installation and carry ripple-fold systems that look architectural and function effortlessly in any condo environment.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Etobicoke waterfront condos are practically a necessity. When windows span from floor to ceiling and the sun angle changes dramatically through the day, manual adjustment is constant and impractical. Our motorized systems operate quietly, integrate with smart home platforms, and can be programmed to move on a schedule tied to sunrise and sunset.
Detached homes in Etobicoke are increasingly adopting motorized solutions for master bedrooms and sunrooms. A motorized blackout blind that opens with your morning alarm and closes at bedtime adds genuine daily comfort — and the Crazy Joe’s installation team handles all calibration during installation.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades Etobicoke kitchens and bathrooms use are typically flat or relaxed styles in easy-clean polyester or moisture-resistant fabric. Our roman shade range is fully custom — every size, every fabric, every lining option. Etobicoke’s many 1950s and 1960s bungalows often feature narrow bathroom windows that only a custom roman shade fits properly.
Blackout curtains Etobicoke bedrooms need are particularly effective with our dual-layer system — a blackout roller for full darkness when needed, layered with a sheer for daytime privacy. This combination is standard in many of the Kingsway and Humber Valley Village homes we service.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
Condo drapes Etobicoke high-rise buyers prefer are typically lighter — sheers, light-filtering rollers, and slim panel systems that do not overpower an open-plan layout. Our sheer curtain range filters sunlight beautifully, making bright south-facing suites comfortable throughout the day without sacrificing the outdoor view that drew buyers to those units in the first place.
For Mimico and Humber Bay condo owners, our condo blinds Mimico selection includes motorized roller blinds, zebra blinds, and ripple-fold sheers — all available in standard and wide widths to cover large-span windows without visible seams.
Why Etobicoke Homeowners and Condo Owners Choose Crazy Joe’s
Etobicoke buyers understand value. They also live in one of the GTA’s most varied housing markets, where window treatment needs differ dramatically by neighbourhood and property type. Here is why the Crazy Joe’s team is the consistent choice across Etobicoke:
Factory-direct pricing — no middleman markup, no showroom overhead added to your bill.
Free in-home measuring across all Etobicoke — Mimico, Islington Village, Long Branch, Humber Bay, Rexdale, The Kingsway, and every community in between.

Professional installation included — every product mounted correctly, every mechanism tested before we leave.
Affordable blinds Etobicoke options alongside luxury drapery — we serve every budget with the same care.
“We have a corner unit in Mimico with twelve oversized windows. The Crazy Joe’s team handled the measuring, custom fabrication, and installation flawlessly. The motorized blinds are quiet and look incredible. Worth every penny.” — Recent Crazy Joe’s customer, Mimico

Custom Blinds North York — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
North York is home to a mix of established detached homes, mid-century bungalows, and a rapidly growing high-rise condo sector stretching along Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue. Each housing type presents different window treatment challenges, and the Crazy Joe’s team has handled all of them many times over. Our factory-direct model means you get custom-built products without paying for a retail showroom’s overhead.
We eliminate the middleman entirely. When you order custom drapes North York through Crazy Joe’s, the pricing reflects manufacturing cost and our service — not a distributor’s markup stacked on top of a retailer’s margin. That difference routinely saves North York customers hundreds of dollars on whole-home orders.
Our process is straightforward. Call 647-878-4459 to book your free in-home measuring appointment. One of our team members visits your North York home, measures every window precisely, and walks you through the full range of available products in your own lighting. Professional installation is included with every order. We mount all hardware, hang panels or fit blinds, test every mechanism, and remove all packaging from your home. Our North York Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds North York homes require a range of opacity and material options. Bayview Village detacheds with mature tree canopy often do well with lighter filtering blinds, while south-facing York Mills homes need stronger solar control. We offer wood blinds, faux-wood blinds, aluminium micro-blinds, and cellular shades across every light-control category.
Every set of blinds we make is built to your exact window measurements — no cutting, no trimming, no approximation. Our factory produces each unit to the millimetre you specify, so the blind sits flat in the frame, operates without racking, and looks sharp from both inside and outside the home. For custom blinds Don Mills buyers, we offer the same precision on the angled and bay windows common in that neighbourhood’s mid-century ranch homes.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes North York orders range from simple tab-top panels for a casual family room to formal pinch-pleat drapery for a Bayview Village dining room. We carry fabric from natural linen and cotton blends through to heavy velvet and thermal-backed blackout materials. Every fabric can be lined or unlined, interlined for added body, or finished with a blackout backing.
Custom drapes new home owners North York typically want are practical and polished — something that dresses the windows quickly, works with neutral builder finishes, and holds up to daily use. Our design team can suggest fabric weights, heading styles, and hardware finishes that suit both the home’s architecture and the owner’s practical needs.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds North York are a natural fit for the area’s growing number of high-rise condos along Yonge and Sheppard. Floor-to-ceiling windows on upper floors are impossible to treat with corded systems, and our motorized solutions handle large spans quietly and reliably. Integration with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit is standard on our motorized range.
For families in detached North York homes, motorized blinds are increasingly popular for bedroom windows and skylights. Waking up to a motorized blind opening on a schedule is a small luxury that makes a real daily difference — and our team handles all programming and calibration during installation.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades North York kitchens and bathrooms love are the flat or relaxed style — clean, unfussy, and easy to operate. We offer roman shades in moisture-resistant fabrics suitable for bathroom installation and easy-clean polyester blends ideal for kitchen use. Custom sizing means they fit every window format, including the narrow casements common in Newtonbrook bungalows.
Blackout curtains North York are a staple for the neighbourhood’s many young families. East-facing children’s bedrooms wake up early without them, and our blackout lining options block 99% of incoming light. Thermal backing adds insulation value — useful in North York’s older housing stock where windows may not be the most efficient.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
North York’s condo corridor along Yonge Street north of Sheppard is one of the densest residential zones in the country. Condo blinds North York buyers in these buildings want sleek profiles, smooth operation, and products that comply with building management rules on window treatment appearance. Our team knows these buildings and recommends products accordingly.
Sheer curtains remain popular in condos for their ability to preserve city views while diffusing harsh direct sunlight. A quality sheer softens the light without blocking it, making north- and east-facing suites feel warm and bright throughout the day.

By the Crazy Joe’s Team | Crazy Joe’s Drapery & Blinds
Your Forest Hill home has twelve-foot ceilings and original plaster crown moulding. Off-the-shelf panels from a big-box store look cheap next to architecture like that. What you need are custom blinds Toronto andcustom drapes designed for your specific windows — fabric that drapes from ceiling to floor, hardware that complements the trim, and a team that actually knows the difference between pinch pleat and ripple fold. The Crazy Joe’s team serves every Toronto neighbourhood, from the grand Edwardians of Rosedale to the contemporary condos rising above Leslieville, and we bring every sample and swatch directly to your door.

Custom Blinds Toronto — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
Toronto is a city of neighbourhoods, and each one has its own housing stock, window profiles, and design sensibility. The Crazy Joe’s team understands that custom drapes Toronto buyers in Yorkville want something different from what works in The Beaches — and our approach starts with listening before we ever show a sample.
We operate completely factory-direct. That means no distributor, no retail showroom markup, and no inflated pricing to cover a Queen Street West storefront. Your custom curtains Toronto order goes from the manufacturer to your window at a price that reflects actual value, not layers of middleman overhead. It is one reason our customers in Lawrence Park and Davisville keep referring neighbours our way.
Every order begins with a free in-home measuring visit. Our team comes to your home, studies the windows, and walks you through every suitable option in your own light — because the way fabric looks under showroom fluorescents is nothing like how it looks against your Leaside living room’s afternoon sun. Call us at 647-878-4459 or book at crazyjoes.com/contact to get started.
Our Toronto Neighbourhood Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds are precision products. A blind that is even a few millimetres too wide will not sit flat in the frame; one that is too narrow lets in light strips on the sides. Our factory-direct manufacturing process means every set is built to your exact measurements — not cut from a standard width in the store room. We offer wood, faux-wood, aluminium, and cellular options across every price range.
For Toronto’s older housing stock — Victorian semis, Edwardian detacheds, wartime bungalows — window frames often deviate from standard sizes. Our measuring team is experienced with non-standard frames and recessed windows common in Cabbagetown and High Park homes. We note every quirk and build the blind accordingly.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Toronto buyers in prestige neighbourhoods like Rosedale and Yorkville typically want luxury custom drapes Toronto standards demand — floor-to-ceiling panels in premium fabrics with hand-sewn headers and weighted hems. We source fabric from quality mills and offer dozens of header styles from traditional triple pinch pleat to contemporary ripple fold.
Condo buyers in Leslieville, Riverdale, and the Danforth corridor often prefer drapes for condos Toronto — slimmer profiles, lighter fabrics, and systems that work within concrete ceilings and limited bracket depth. We stock hardware specifically designed for high-rise installation and know exactly which products work in which building types.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Toronto have become nearly standard in new condo builds across the city. When windows are floor-to-ceiling or two storeys high, a motorized system is not a luxury — it is the only practical solution. We install quiet, reliable motors that integrate with your existing smart home setup, whether that is a Google Nest system, Amazon Echo, or Apple HomeKit hub.
Manual cord systems remain popular in traditional homes where children’s cord-safety is a consideration. Cordless lift mechanisms are our recommendation for families with young children in any Toronto neighbourhood, and they meet current Canadian cord-safety guidelines fully.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades Toronto bring a tailored, finished look to kitchens and dining rooms where full-length drapes would be impractical. We offer flat Roman, hobbled Roman, and waterfall Roman styles in everything from natural linen to room-darkening blackout fabric. Bloor West Village and The Annex kitchens often feature our flat Roman shades in natural tones.
Blackout curtains Toronto are in constant demand across the city’s east end, where the morning sun hits bedroom windows hard. Our blackout lining options block virtually all incoming light and add a thermal barrier that helps regulate room temperature through Toronto’s dramatic seasonal swings.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
Condo blinds Toronto need to work within the physical constraints of high-rise construction — narrow fascias, limited ceiling clearance, and fire-code requirements in some buildings that restrict certain mounting types. Our team navigates all of these regularly and recommends products that comply with your building’s rules while looking exceptional.
Sheer curtains Toronto are the most popular daytime privacy solution in south- and east-facing condos. A quality sheer diffuses harsh light into a warm glow, makes the room feel larger, and maintains your privacy from neighbouring buildings without blocking your view.
Why Toronto Neighbourhood Homeowners Choose Crazy Joe’s
Living in a desirable Toronto neighbourhood means your home is one of the most significant assets you own. Window treatments are a visible, daily-use element of that asset. Here is why our customers across Toronto’s established and emerging neighbourhoods trust the Crazy Joe’s team:

Custom Blinds Toronto — What Makes Crazy Joe’s Different
Most drapery stores in Toronto mark up their products two or three times before they reach your window. Crazy Joe’s operates factory-direct, which means the price you pay goes straight from the manufacturer to your home — no distributor markup, no showroom overhead passed on to you. That single difference puts premium custom window coverings Toronto homeowners love within reach of almost any budget.
Our process starts the moment you call 647-878-4459 or book online. One of our experienced team members comes to your home at a time that suits you, Monday through Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm. We carry a full range of fabric swatches, blind samples, and motorized hardware so you can see and feel every option in your own lighting before committing to anything.
Free in-home measuring is standard on every order — no gimmick, no hidden fee. We measure every window to the millimetre because a custom blind that is one centimetre off looks wrong and lets in light where it should not. Once your order is confirmed, our professional installation team fits everything so it operates perfectly from day one. You never have to lift a tool.
This factory-direct model is part of why affordable blinds Toronto buyers keep coming back. Quality window treatments do not have to cost a fortune when the markup chain is removed. We are proud members of the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA), which holds us to the highest standards of product safety and manufacturing quality in North America.
Our Toronto Window Treatment Collection
Custom Blinds
Custom blinds are the backbone of what we do at Crazy Joe’s. Whether you want clean horizontal slats that filter afternoon light in a Rosedale living room or precise blackout coverage for a baby’s nursery in Etobicoke, we build each set of blinds to your exact measurements. Our range includes faux-wood blinds, real-wood blinds, aluminium micro-blinds, and premium cellular shades.
Every factory direct blinds Toronto order goes through quality control before it leaves the manufacturer. You receive a product that fits your window, matches your décor, and operates smoothly for years. Our team can also advise on the best slat width and opacity for each room’s light conditions.
Custom Drapes & Drapery
Custom drapes Toronto buyers want fabric that hangs perfectly, pools just right, and complements the room’s palette. Our custom drapery Toronto collection includes pinch pleat drapes, ripple-fold panels, goblet pleat headers, and relaxed rod-pocket styles. We source fabric from trusted Canadian and international mills so quality stays consistent.
For condos across Toronto, Mississauga, and the GTA, our condo blinds Toronto and slim-profile drape systems are designed to work within tight wall depths and curtain-rod limitations common in high-rise builds. We know condo windows — we have dressed thousands of them.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized blinds Toronto are one of our fastest-growing categories. With a quiet motor and a wall switch or smart-home app, you adjust every blind in the room without leaving the couch. Motorized systems are especially popular for high windows in Toronto’s many new builds and loft-style spaces where manual cords are impractical.
We install motorized systems from leading brands and program them to work with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit. Our team handles all the wiring and calibration so your motorized blinds are ready to use the moment we leave.
Roman Shades & Blackout Curtains
Roman shades Toronto offer a soft, tailored look that suits traditional and contemporary rooms equally well. They stack in neat horizontal folds when raised and lie flat when lowered, making them ideal for kitchens, dining rooms, and reading nooks. We offer flat, hobbled, and waterfall roman styles in hundreds of fabrics.
Blackout curtains Toronto are essential for bedrooms in the city where streetlights and neighbouring buildings create constant ambient glow. Our blackout linings block 99% of incoming light and add a layer of thermal insulation, cutting heating and cooling costs year-round.
Condo Blinds & Sheer Curtains
Toronto’s condo market keeps growing, and so does demand for window treatments that suit open-plan layouts and floor-to-ceiling glass. Our sheer curtains Toronto collection lets natural light diffuse softly through the space while maintaining daytime privacy — a favourite combination for south-facing condos downtown and in Scarborough’s waterfront towers.
We also carry zebra blinds Toronto, a dual-layer roller system that alternates sheer and opaque bands so you can dial in any level of light and privacy without swapping products. The result is a sleek, modern look that suits virtually every condo aesthetic.

Our Toronto GTA Service Area
The map below shows every community across Toronto and the GTA that Crazy Joe’s delivers factory-direct window treatments to.
What are the best blinds for a bedroom? It sounds like a straightforward question but there's actually a lot to think through here — light, privacy, style, how the room feels when you wake up in the morning. Get it right and your bedroom becomes a genuinely restful space. Get it wrong and you're fighting light gaps at 6am and feeling like you're sleeping in a fishbowl. Let's do this properly.
The three things that matter most in a bedroom window treatment are darkness, privacy, and appearance. In that order. Because if you can't sleep well, nothing else about the room matters. Let's go through each one.
Darkness first. Your body produces melatonin — that's the hormone that makes you sleepy — in response to darkness. Even small amounts of light can suppress melatonin production and keep your brain in a lighter, more alert state. This is why so many people feel like they can't sleep in past sunrise even when they're tired. The light comes in through a light-filtering blind or around the edges of a poorly fitted one, and your brain gets the signal to wake up. A proper blackout blind eliminates this problem. And the research on sleep quality consistently shows that people sleep better, deeper, and longer in darker rooms. This isn't just comfort — it's health.
So for the bedroom — you want blackout capability. That doesn't mean the room has to be blacked out all the time. It means when you close the blind, you have the option of genuine darkness. That flexibility is what you're buying.
Privacy second. Bedroom privacy is non-negotiable. Whether you're on the ground floor or the twentieth floor, you want to know that when the lights are on inside at night, nobody is seeing in. Blackout blinds provide complete privacy when closed — no light passes through in either direction. If you use a layered approach with a sheer blind and drapes, the sheer gives daytime privacy while the drapes give night-time privacy. Think about your specific situation — what floor you're on, what's outside your window, how close the neighbouring building is — and let that guide your choice.
Now appearance. You wake up and look at your window treatment every single morning. It sets the tone for the room. A cluttered, fussy, poorly fitted blind or curtain is an annoyance you haven't consciously noticed yet. A clean, well-fitted treatment that suits the room just feels right. The bedroom should feel calm and intentional. Whatever you choose should contribute to that feeling, not fight against it.
So what are the actual options? Let's go through them.
Blackout roller blind on its own. This is the clean, minimal option. A well-made blackout roller blind in a colour that suits your room looks sharp and does exactly what you need. Easy to operate, easy to clean, affordable. If your aesthetic is minimal and modern, this is a strong choice. The only thing it doesn't give you is the softness and warmth that fabric drapes add.
Blackout roller blind plus curtains or drapes. This is the classic combination and it's classic for a reason — it works beautifully. The roller blind handles all the functional work — light blocking, privacy, insulation. The drapes handle the style — softness, colour, texture, that sense that the room is finished and intentional. When the drapes are open during the day, the roller blind handles privacy. At night, close both and you have complete darkness and a room that looks warm and designed. This combination works in almost any bedroom style from ultra-modern to traditional.
Blackout zebra blinds. Yes, zebra blinds come in blackout versions. The alternating strip design means you can let light filter through in the day by aligning the sheer strips, then shift to full blackout at night by aligning the solid strips. They look very contemporary and they're popular in bedrooms where the occupant wants a modern aesthetic without the softness of drapes. Great for a spare bedroom or a teenager's room.
Cellular shades in blackout. Cellular shades — the honeycomb style — also come in blackout versions. They have the added benefit of insulation, which means they help keep the bedroom warmer in winter and cooler in summer. If your bedroom has a particularly cold north-facing window, or if you're dealing with a room that gets very hot in summer, cellular shades are worth the extra investment.
Roman shades in blackout. For a bedroom with a more traditional or luxurious feel, a blackout roman shade layered with side curtains is a beautiful combination. The roman shade folds up in soft pleats and lies flat when lowered — it has a fabric quality that roller blinds don't. More expensive and higher maintenance, but if the look matters to you, it's worth it.
A word about motorized blinds in bedrooms. This is where motorization genuinely improves daily life in a way that's hard to appreciate until you've had it. Imagine waking up naturally as your blinds open gradually on a schedule — no alarm blasting, just gentle morning light coming in at the time you set. Or closing the blinds at night without getting out of bed. Or adjusting the light level from your phone while you're lying down reading. These aren't luxury gimmicks. They're small quality-of-life improvements that compound every single day. If you're doing a bedroom renovation or moving into a new home, it's worth adding motorization to the conversation.
One practical thing to watch out for. The biggest problem with bedroom blinds we see in Toronto homes — light gaps. The blind itself might be perfectly blackout but if it's inside-mounted and doesn't fit snugly against the window frame, light comes in around the edges. First thing in the morning, you'll notice those thin strips of light along the sides. The fix is either an outside mount — where the blind covers the frame and extends beyond it — or a blind with side channels that press against the frame. If darkness is your priority, mention that to us and we'll make sure the installation eliminates gaps.

Window treatments for a Toronto condo — this is a topic we know inside out. We've outfitted condos across the GTA for decades — from small bachelor units in the Entertainment District to full-floor penthouse suites in Yorkville to new builds in Mississauga, Vaughan, and Oakville. Every condo has its own quirks but there are patterns that show up again and again. Let's talk about what actually works.
First, the unique challenges of condo windows. Most Toronto condos built in the last twenty years have floor-to-ceiling windows or very large expanses of glass. That's by design — it's a selling feature. Natural light, city views, the feeling of openness. But large glass comes with real practical problems. Heat gain in summer — especially on south and west facing units — can be brutal. That afternoon sun beating through glass raises your interior temperature significantly and your air conditioning works overtime. In winter, glass is a terrible insulator. Heat bleeds out through those large windows and you end up with cold spots near the glass and a heating bill that reflects it. Glare on screens is constant in units that get direct sun. And privacy — especially on lower floors — is something a lot of condo owners don't think about until they've lived there a few weeks.
The right window treatment addresses all of these things. Or at least the ones that matter most to you.
Let's talk about the most popular options in Toronto condos right now.
Roller blinds are by far the most common. They're clean, minimal, they suit the modern aesthetic of most condo interiors, and when rolled up they disappear into the headrail and don't obscure the view at all. The fabric choice is everything here. A solar shade fabric — which is a semi-transparent weave with a specific openness factor — is ideal for managing glare without blocking your view or making the unit feel dark. Openness factors are expressed as a percentage — a 3% openness solar shade lets very little light through while maintaining some see-through, while a 10% openness shade is more open and lighter. For east-facing units, a higher openness is usually fine. For south and west-facing units with brutal afternoon sun, a tighter weave makes a real difference.
Zebra blinds are the second most popular choice in Toronto condos. That alternating sheer-and-solid design fits perfectly with the contemporary look of most condo interiors. They're available in a huge range of colours — from bright white to warm grey to charcoal — and they give condo owners that in-between privacy option that's so valuable when you're in a building surrounded by other buildings. During the day you can filter light without committing to blackout. In the evening when you're watching TV or having dinner, shift to the solid position and you've got complete privacy. It's very practical.
Motorized blinds in condos — this is where it gets interesting. A condo with multiple large windows, all operated manually, can be genuinely annoying. Opening and closing six or eight large blinds morning and evening gets old fast. Motorized blinds with a single app or a wall switch change that completely. You press one button and everything in the unit adjusts simultaneously. You set a morning schedule and the blinds open on their own. In a condo where you might be working from home, having guests over, or just moving through the space quickly, motorization adds a level of ease and sophistication that people consistently say was worth every penny. It's also a genuine selling feature if you ever rent or sell the unit.
Now — condo corporation rules. This catches people out more than anything else and it's important. Most Toronto condo corporations have rules about what window coverings are visible from outside the building. The most common rule is that the exterior-facing side of any blind, curtain, or shade must be white or off-white. This is about maintaining a consistent appearance from the street. A building where every unit has different coloured window coverings visible through the glass looks messy, and the condo board doesn't want that. A good quality roller blind or zebra blind with a white backing satisfies this requirement while giving you full colour choice on the interior-facing side. Before you order anything custom, check your condo declaration or email your property manager. Most are very quick to clarify what's allowed. The last thing you want is to spend money on custom blinds and then get a letter telling you they have to come down.
Energy efficiency in a condo matters more than people think. You're paying your own hydro and heating in most Toronto condos. Large glass windows are beautiful and they're also the single biggest source of heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. A cellular shade — even a single-cell version — creates an insulating air barrier at the glass. It won't replace your windows, but it meaningfully reduces the temperature variance near the glass and reduces the load on your HVAC system. On a particularly cold north-facing window, the difference can be noticeable both in comfort and in your monthly bill. Worth considering if energy costs are on your mind.
Light control in an open-plan condo requires some thought. Many Toronto condos have open-plan living spaces where the kitchen, dining area, and living room all share the same windows. Choosing treatments that work cohesively across those windows matters. Mismatched blinds in an open-plan space look disjointed and they make the unit feel smaller. Keeping the same product — or at least the same colour and finish — across all windows in an open space gives a pulled-together look that photographs well and feels intentional.
Finally — measuring for a condo. Floor-to-ceiling windows in a condo are almost never perfectly square. Buildings settle. Floors aren't always perfectly level. A blind that's cut to the exact specifications of the window frame might gap slightly on one side. This is why professional measurement is so important in a condo installation. We come in, we measure every window precisely, we note any variances, and we account for them in the order. It's the difference between a blind that fits perfectly and one that's slightly off and bothers you every time you look at it.

Before you call any blind company, before you go to any showroom, before you order anything — measure your windows. Accurate measurements make everything faster, easier, and less likely to go wrong. And the good news is that measuring windows is something anyone can do with the right tool and the right method. Let's walk through it step by step.
First — get the right measuring tool. This sounds obvious but it's where people go wrong. You need a steel measuring tape. Not a fabric tape measure, not a plastic one that bends, and definitely not a measuring app on your phone that uses your camera. A steel tape gives you a rigid, accurate measurement that doesn't flex or sag in the middle of a long span. For windows this matters because even a quarter-inch error in your measurement can mean a blind that doesn't fit correctly — gaps on the sides, or a blind that won't slide into the frame. A good steel tape measure costs about ten dollars at any hardware store. It's worth having one.
Second — understand the two types of mount. This is the most important decision you'll make before you measure, because the two mount types require completely different measurements.
Inside mount means the blind is installed inside the window frame, sitting within the recess of the window opening. It looks clean and built-in, like the blind belongs to the window. The blind sits flush with the wall. Inside mount works best when your window frame has enough depth — usually at least two inches — to accommodate the headrail of the blind. For this mount type you measure the inside of the window opening.
Outside mount means the blind is installed on the wall above the window frame and extends past the frame on the sides. You use this when your window frame is too shallow for an inside mount, when you want to make the window look larger than it is, or when you want maximum light blockage — because an outside mount covers the frame itself, eliminating the light gaps you sometimes get with inside mounts. For this mount type you measure the area you want the blind to cover, not just the window opening.
How to measure for an inside mount. Measure the width of the window opening at three points — at the top, the middle, and the bottom of the opening. Why three points? Because windows in Toronto homes — especially older homes — are not always perfectly square. The frame may be slightly wider at the top than at the bottom, or vice versa. Take the smallest of your three width measurements. This is the number you give to your blind company. The blind will be manufactured slightly smaller than this measurement — usually a quarter to a half inch smaller — to allow it to fit and operate without binding. Now measure the height at three points — left side, centre, and right side. Again, take the smallest measurement. Write everything down as width by height. Always width first, then height. That's the industry standard.
How to measure for an outside mount. Decide how far you want the blind to extend beyond the window frame on each side. For light control and appearance, two to three inches each side is typical. For maximum light blockage, go wider. Add your extensions to the width of the window frame and that's your blind width. For height — decide where the blind will mount at the top. Usually this is two to four inches above the window frame, or up to the ceiling if you want a tall elegant look. Measure from that mounting point down to where you want the blind to end. Typically this is just past the window sill — one to two inches past is standard. If there's no sill and the window goes to the floor, measure to the floor and subtract a half inch so the blind doesn't drag.
Common measuring mistakes — and how to avoid them.
Measuring the glass instead of the opening. A lot of people measure the visible glass area, not the full window opening. For an inside mount you need the full opening — frame to frame. The glass is recessed from the frame and is always smaller than the opening.
Measuring once and trusting it. Measure twice, minimum. On a more expensive custom order, measure three times. It takes thirty extra seconds and it can save you from an expensive remeasure and remake.
Not accounting for obstructions. Before you measure for an inside mount, check the depth of the frame. Is there a window crank handle inside the frame? A latch? A deep sill that would interfere with the blind? These obstructions can prevent an inside mount from working at all and you need to know before you order.
Forgetting to measure multiple windows separately. Even windows that look identical in a room are often slightly different sizes. Measure each window individually. Never assume they're the same.
Giving your measurements to the manufacturer versus giving them to a professional. When you order from a big box store or an online retailer, you give your measurements and they make what you specify. If those measurements are wrong, you eat the cost. When you work with a professional installer like Crazy Joe's Drapery and Blinds, we measure ourselves before anything is ordered. Your measurements are useful for initial discussions and quotes, but we always confirm with our own tape before placing an order. That extra step is part of what you're paying for when you use a professional — the assurance that the blind will fit before it's made.
What to do with your measurements. Once you have your measurements written down — width and height for each window, noting which are inside mount and which are outside mount — you're ready to have a proper conversation with a blind company. Bring those measurements to a showroom or have them ready when you call. It immediately makes the conversation more productive and allows the company to give you accurate pricing rather than rough estimates.
Write the room name next to each measurement as you go. Master bedroom window — 48 by 72. Living room left window — 36 by 84. It's simple but it prevents confusion when you're comparing multiple windows and multiple products.
