Why zebra blinds are so popular
Zebra blinds (also called day/night, dual or banded blinds) give you three positions in one blind: open bands for daylight, closed bands for privacy, or fully raised for the view. That flexibility is why they are so common in Toronto condos and bedrooms facing other houses.
They are not true blackout. If you need a dark bedroom, we’ll suggest a room-darkening zebra with a drape, or a blackout roller instead.

No. Even room-darkening zebra fabrics let some light through the gaps. For a fully dark room, choose a blackout roller or add a drape.
Are zebra blinds good for condos?
Yes. They are one of the most popular condo choices because you can keep privacy from neighbouring towers while still letting light in.
How do I clean zebra blinds?
Dust them regularly with a soft brush or vacuum attachment, and spot clean with a damp cloth. Don’t soak the fabric.
