Roller blind fabrics
Solar / sunscreen
Cuts glare and heat while you keep your view. The go-to for condos and south-facing rooms.
Light-filtering
Soft, even daylight with privacy. Popular for living rooms and kitchens.
Blackout
Blocks light for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms.
Double roller
Solar and blackout on one bracket, so you get daytime view and night-time darkness.
Cassette & fascia
A neat valance or cassette hides the roll for a finished look.
Cordless or motorized
Spring-assisted cordless lift, chain, or a quiet motor for hard-to-reach windows.
Choosing roller blinds
Roller blinds are the most popular blind we sell, because they suit almost every window: wide living-room windows, sliding doors, bedrooms, kitchens and condo glass. They roll up out of sight and are easy to clean.
The main choice is the fabric openness. A more open solar fabric gives a clearer view and less privacy at night; a tighter fabric gives more privacy and less view. We bring real samples so you can hold them up to your own windows.
For bedrooms, a blackout roller with side channels or a drape over it gives the darkest room.

Roller blinds FAQ
What’s the difference between roller blinds and roller shades?
Nothing. They are the same product. In Canada people say roller blinds, and manufacturers often say roller shades.
Can I see out through solar roller blinds?
Yes, during the day. At night, with lights on inside, people can see in, so bedrooms usually need blackout or a second layer.
Can roller blinds be blackout?
Yes. Blackout fabric blocks light through the fabric. A little light can still come in at the edges unless you add side channels or a drape.
Do you measure and install?
Yes. We measure every window and install every blind, so the fit is our responsibility, not yours.
