Battery or hardwired?
Rechargeable battery motors are the easy choice for existing homes. No electrician and no wall work, and a charge typically lasts months with normal daily use.
Hardwired motors are ideal if you’re building, renovating or buying a new condo. Talk to us before the drywall goes up so wiring can be run to each window. Can my existing blinds be motorized?
Sometimes. It depends on the blind type, its size and its headrail. In many cases it’s simpler and better value to replace them with a blind built for a motor. We’ll tell you honestly during the free consultation.
How much do motorized blinds cost?
It depends on the number and size of your windows, the fabric, and whether you choose battery or hardwired motors. That’s why we measure first. The in-home consultation and quote are free, and we’re known for beating competitors’ prices.
Do I need an electrician?
Not for rechargeable battery motors. Hardwired motors need power at each window, which is easiest to plan during a build or renovation.
Can motorized blinds work with my smart home?
Many of the motor systems we install can connect to popular smart home apps and speakers. Tell us what you use at home and we’ll recommend a system that fits.
