Crazy Joe’s Drapery & Blinds · Measured and installed by us since 1970
How Much Does Blind & Drapery Installation Cost in Toronto?
Installation is part of every custom order at Crazy Joe’s, and right now it’s free on orders over $988 for a limited time. Here’s what affects installation, what’s included, and how to get an exact quote for your windows.
What’s included when we install
Measuring
We measure every window ourselves before anything is made, so the fit is our responsibility.
Hardware
Brackets, tracks and rods supplied and mounted level and secure.
Hanging & dressing
Drapes are hung and trained so the folds sit evenly; blinds are adjusted and tested.
Motor setup
For motorized products, we pair remotes and set up the app and schedules.
Clean-up
We take the packaging away and leave the room as we found it.
A walkthrough
We show you how everything works before we leave.
What affects installation
Number of windows
More windows means more time. Doing the whole home in one visit is the most efficient.
Height & access
Two-storey foyers, stairwells and high clerestory windows need ladders or extra hands.
Mounting surface
Drywall, wood, concrete ceilings and tile each need different anchors.
Window shape
Bay windows, corners, arches and skylights need custom brackets and more care.
Product type
Ceiling tracks for drapery and motorized systems take longer than a standard blind.
Condo rules
Elevator bookings and building hours can affect scheduling, not quality.
Free installation on orders over $988
For a limited time, Crazy Joe’s installs for free on orders over $988. That covers measuring, hardware mounting and hanging for everything we make for you. Combine rooms into one order to qualify, and ask about our in-store specials at the showroom on Dundas Street East in Mississauga.
Tips for a smooth installation
- Order rooms together. One measure, one install visit.
- Clear the windows. Move furniture back about a metre and take down old blinds if you can.
- Tell us about condo rules. We’ll book around elevator times.
- Plan motorized products early. Hardwired motors are easiest before walls are closed.

Installation FAQ
How much does blind and drapery installation cost in Toronto?
It depends on the number of windows, the product, the height and the mounting surface. At Crazy Joe’s, installation is free on orders over $988 for a limited time, and every quote shows exactly what’s included.
Is installation included when I buy from Crazy Joe’s?
We measure, supply and install everything we sell. Installation is free on orders over $988 for a limited time; smaller orders are quoted with installation clearly listed.
Do you install in condos?
Yes. We install in condos across Toronto and the GTA, including concrete ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass, and we work around building rules for elevators and move-in times.
Can you install blinds or drapes I bought somewhere else?
We focus on installing what we make, because then the fit is our responsibility. Call Joe and ask about your situation.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single visit. Larger homes, motorized systems and condo window walls can take longer; we’ll tell you when we quote.
Should I install blinds myself?
You can, but custom blinds and drapes are made to exact measurements, and a crooked bracket or a wrong mount can ruin the fit. Professional installation also matters for motorized and cordless products.
